Getting Started

Unlike the V1 Golf app, the V1 Pro app is designed to be used by teaching professionals.  The V1 Pro app allows you either to receive video from your students or to create it locally, then to perform a lesson using that video, and finally to upload the finished product back to your students.

Before starting, you must have a V1 Branded Academy, and have your Branded Academy login credentials (email and password).

You must also have an Internet connection in order to authenticate with our server.

Touching any section will take you to the log in screen, if you aren't already logged in. Once you've entered a valid email address and password, you will be presented with a list of academies which you may access.  Select your branded academy from this list. The app remembers your log-in information and selected Academy, so you only need to do this once. To log out, visit the Settings area.

Your Locker

Your locker is divided into two sections: My Videos and My Lessons & Drills.

The My Videos section consists of "raw" video that you have uploaded for analysis by yourself or another instructor.  It's also a way to exchange video between your mobile device and your PC.

The My Lessons & Drills section consists of analyzed video and imported content from the V1 Pro PC application.  Video listed in this section may be added to lessons that you perform for your own students--such as introductions, tips, prescribed exercises, etc.

A video is listed with Green text if it has been downloaded to your device.

Click on a video to view options available for your video.  From here, you may either analyze the video (from the My Videos list) or play it (from the My Lessons & Drills list).

The Delete icon may be used to permanently delete the video from your online locker.  Note that if the video was previously downloaded, it will remain in your Stored page folder unless you also use the Delete icon from that page as well.

What to do next

Once you have successfully authenticated with the Academy, you can begin working with students.  Click the Students icon from the dashboard.

From the students list, you can touch the New Student icon to add new students or import them from your contact list.

Once a student is selected, you can use the Camera icon to record and Analyze the new video.

From the analysis window, you can touch the V1 logo to begin a Lesson.

If a student uploads and assigns a video to you via your Academy, you will find it in the Inbox waiting for acceptance and analysis.

Visit the Library to download models and to manage stored video on your device.
